Convertible Resources is seeking project opportunities for exploration and development based on five strategic decision making criteria, that are borne out of the experience of the immediate team and its wider network
1. Multi-Commodity Coverage
An enviable depth of knowledge and experience in bulk commodities, primarily Iron Ore and precious metals. The team has explored, developed and operated at iron projects on multiple continents, from the largest iron ore mines in the world, through to some of the remotest.
Practical exploration and resource development in the precious metals sector, mainly gold in West Africa, having work at two of Guinea’s largest operating gold mines and undertaken extensive exploration in the region and also in South America.
Having undertaken extensive due diligence exercises on base metals projects around the world, the Convertible Resources team brings the comprehensive knowledge from numerous project and exploration targets as well as the downstream processing needs of the industry.
Industrial Minerals comprise a wide range of specialised minerals in diverse geological settings. With the industrial markets being diverse and often opaque, the knowledge and with the networks to access market opportunities is critical to successful development. Our Convertible Resources team has firsthand experience in the minerals sands and other sectors.
2. Project Maturity & Adaptability
Convertible Resources’ team’s experience spans the full cycle of a minerals project’s maturity, from exploration through to mine development and operations. With complimentary experience in capital markets (debt and equity), the team is equally adept at understanding how and where in the lifecycle it can add value for all stakeholders.
3. Geographic Reach
The Convertible Resources team has and is operated globally with extensive networks and experience to enter new markets. Its major focus has been in West Africa, and it is now evaluating projects in Brazil, Europe, and Eastern Africa.
4. Infrastructure integration
Beyond the orebodies that are the lynchpin of any exploration and development project, Convertible Resources can bring complimentary opportunities to further enhance a project’s potential.

Whether it is storage solutions, a conveyor, civil engineering structures, loading solutions, rail, port enhancements and more, our network can evaluate and provide engineering solutions, often backed by funding solutions, to help projects progress.
5. ESG
ESG issues are rightly front and centre of investment decision today. Our team has operated in a wide range of developed and developing economies, near major European cities and in remote equatorial jungles. We know what it takes to work with local stakeholders and governments, and to invest in their future as well as returns for our shareholders. We are partnering with providers of technologies that can reduce or eliminate some of the harmful materials used in mining, we will use where possible, portable and recyclable engineering options that don’t leave a long-term legacy for our projects’ stakeholders.
